I have a soft spot for these two lovebirds and their pup Apollo because I photographed not one but their TWO weddings…one in California and one in New York but it all started here with this session. I don’t know if I have ever told them this but I instantly thought they were just the coolest, an ER doctor in NYC and a sculptor who works at the Museum of Modern Art; so our first phone call I was so nervous everything I said sounded so dumb. I got off the phone and said to my husband I’m so sad I just completely messed that one up and they will never call me again. But somehow they did! And allowed me into their lives and I just fell in love with them and their friends and family. Their wedding blogs are going to be something so keep an eye out for those but in the meantime here is one of my favorite engagement sessions ever that I can’t believe I never blogged. And to Alyssa & Chris, thank you so much for trusting me with this and overlooking my nervous stammering on our first call!!! I really wish you would consider marrying each other for a third time <3
